Irrigation systems

We install irrigation systems for gardens in Colchester, Clacton and the surrounding areas. The starting point is what you want to water, the layout of the garden and the available water supply, whether the system is a standalone installation or part of a wider landscaping project.

What the service involves

Watering systems planned around your garden.

An irrigation installation needs to suit the areas it serves rather than use one watering arrangement everywhere. Tell us whether you need help watering borders, raised beds, planted areas or a lawn, and how these are spread around the garden. The planting, distances and available supply help shape the system we can propose.

Before agreeing an installation, we discuss the water source, the position of taps or other supply points, pipe routes and the way you would like to operate the system. Where the design needs separate watering areas or controls, those should be considered as part of the specification. Suitability, supply requirements and any necessary protection need checking before a final arrangement is agreed; a few photographs alone cannot confirm all of those details.

For an existing garden, show us the areas that need watering and any paths, patios or structures between them. For a new landscaping project, raising irrigation early helps us plan routes before surfaces and planting are finished. That does not mean you need to redesign the whole garden to have a system installed.

In your first enquiry, include your postcode, approximate sizes, the areas you want watered and whether you already have any irrigation equipment. Once we reply, photographs of the garden and accessible water points can be sent by email. Tell us what is difficult about the current watering routine and what you would like to change. We can then discuss the next assessment and what the proposed installation would include, without promising a result before the site and supply have been checked.

A quotation for your garden.

Use the enquiry form to send your postcode, a description of the work and approximate measurements where relevant. We will discuss the scope and any visit needed before confirming the quotation. Mention timing, access and removal at the outset so these can be considered together. Once we reply, photographs can be sent by email if they help us assess the garden.

Can irrigation be installed in an existing garden?

Yes, it can be considered as a separate project. The layout, access and water supply need checking to see how an installation would work around existing planting and surfaces. Use the enquiry form to tell us which areas you want watered, the accessible supply points and your postcode. Once we reply, photographs can be sent by email. For a new patio, raised bed or wider garden project, mention irrigation in the same enquiry so the work can be considered together.
